Teays Valley Band Boosters
There are numerous opportunities each week to participate in your student's band career - we hope you will join us as often as possible! Sign up below, and don't forget to put your volunteered dates on your home calendar!
Our parent organization is the key to our success. We can always use your help in our efforts to set our students up for success, and we have endless opportunities for every kind of skill you can bring to the organization! From feeding students and donating food items to helping in the equipment 'pit crew' and chaperoning any of the dozens of events throughout the school year, we hope you will consider joining us in this endeavor. The Teays Valley Band Boosters hold regular meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month in the high school band room. Please see the 'calendar' page for more information.

Numbers Speak For Themselves
In addition to our regularly-scheduled weekly events, The Teays Valley Band Program hosts three major events each year in conjunction with the Ohio Music Education Association. These are very large and intensive events that require many parent and student volunteers to be successful.
Teays Valley Golden Sound Showcase
Each October, we host our own OMEA Adjudicated Event for marching bands from across the state of Ohio. There are dozens of opportunities to help, including parking lot assistance and working the event in a number of capacities. Additionally, we have sponsorship capabilities if you or your organization would like to sponsor one of the trophies presented to the top scoring performers.
OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Event
Similar to the outdoor event for marching bands, this is an indoor event in the early Spring for concert ensembles. Many of the jobs and opportunities are similar, and we need numerous individuals to help make this a successful event for all performers and attendees. More information will be forthcoming as we get closer to concert season.
State Marching Band Finals
Occasionally, we are involved in hosting a site of SMBF for the Ohio Music Education Association. This is an enormous undertaking, requiring many volunteers. Similar to the ‘Golden Sound Showcase’ but involving a much larger scope of needs. This event will be part of our schedule for the 2021-2022 school year, and WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
